Conceived as a written salon for those who see design as a formative force, it explores the stories and spirit behind the materials, objects, and practices that shape our spaces—considered through the lens of design, yet not confined to it. Architecture, art, craft, and the textures of everyday life are brought into conversation, with attention to how they inform, and are informed by, the conditions in which life unfolds.
